The Fatima Al-Fihriyya Scholarship-Internship program at Roots Academy was established in 2021 as an extension of our organization’s mission to expand access to language education and opportunities to connect language learning with professional goals. The program is structured to provide each scholar-intern with a diverse portfolio of projects that support their professional, academic, and language learning growth. Scholar-interns receive bilingual work experience, teaching experience, and research experience, as well as free language classes and support navigating their study abroad experience in Rabat. This scholarship-internship is offered at three different times of the year: Fall Semester, Spring Semester, and Summer Session.
